The school requests two POP parents each school day; these are assigned in advance. It’s often just a day in advance, so if you have time coming up, by all means contact our Pops Rep (her email link in the story) and ask if there’s an opening, but you will likely have to give her at least one day’s notice. Otherwise you may get there and find the two spots already taken, on most days. We hope you’ll try it; it’s actually pretty fascinating to be a “fly on the wall” during class changes, and get a first-hand look at how great our school and our students really are.

We are so proud of our son Derrick! He had a rough start moving here too Maryland from Arizona, Atholton High has been a wonderful school, and Mr Brenfleck has been such a great influence on him and for encouraging our son’s love of Photography!!

This is a great initiative that will have a positive impact on the entire student body. There is much evidence supporting the link between academic performance and physical fitness so an after school program will be a great thing for the school.

I love the new web site! Out of all of the various AHS websites The Raider News is the easiest to read and to manuever around. Any chance there could be a link to TeacherWeb on this website? There are links to other websites that then link you to TeacherWeb, but I don’t see a link on The Raider News.
